MARCOSTA SEAFOOD

is a premium quality seafood distributor located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

For many years, Marcosta operated out of various locations in the Potrero area providing restaurants and hotels with quality seafood and reliable service. Like many small businesses, when COVID-19 surfaced, it affected staffing and sales and the business almost collapsed.

Fortunately in early 2022, Marcosta was rebuilt with a new mission and a stronger focus on distributing higher quality, safer products.

As a result, we added our own Fish Market, Processing Center and Storage Facility to ensure our product quality and availability is consistent and reliable for all of our customers.

Restaurant
Distribution

At Marcosta Seafood, we have a full line of fresh & frozen seafood sourced from our network of long-time, ethical and reliable suppliers.

We QA, process and package everything by hand to customer specification in our Guanacaste location.

Retail Markets

Many retail markets only offer machine processed seafood filled with preservatives that have been frozen for months...AND most of it is not from Costa Rica.

We offer higher quality fresh (and fresh frozen) local product that comes vacuumed sealed and in the portion size you prefer.

Catering &
Private Chefs

For our Catering and Chef Partners, we offer a variety of specialty items processed and portioned to your specification.

Processing
